Title: New Kits
Post by: Maxicosi on March 31, 2014, 11:31:33 AM
Hi Everyone...

Quick Question:

Will there be new PreenFM2 Kits for sale in the near future?
Is there waiting list?

I would love to build my own because it looks and sounds very promising :D...

Thanks in advance....

Max

Hi Max,

There will be new Kits in May as well as new PCBs.
I'll post something soon, but drop me a line at preenfm1 (-atatat-) gmail (-dotdotdot-) com if you want to be added to the waiting list.

Best,

Xavier

Hi Xavier new pcb received this morning with extra bits( thanks a lot). i think i bought encoders which increment in the wrong direction off ebay, is there any code that can fix this or is it better just  to buy some new ones.

thanks again will keep you posted

Do you have the specification of these encoders ?
Should be easy to add a 3rd driver accessible from the settings.

The interesting thing is the diagram in the bottom right.
But here it's still very confuse.
If this is exactly the opposite of the existing ones, it will be easy, else it can be more complicated.
And you wont' know before trying them... so you chose. ;)

Mouser claims to have 14 available.
Heh, the list of items in "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" looks very familiar... DAC? Audio jacks? Switches? Pots? Hm...)

any news on firmware updates.
Aside from some experiments that aren't fit for human consumption there are some small things I've fixed/added to the code, but I'm not sure what Xavier's timeframe is for the next update.
I think he been focussed on the editor and I've been avoiding "unofficial" releases :)

I have some CERB40 II in stock contact me if you can wait a little... I'll be back home next W.E. and can ship next monday.
They have the 20 pins headers soldered on.
Price : 30 Euros shipping included.

I'll try to realease a B13 soon. At least to include last patrick arpegiator work.

The plugin work is bigger than expected.... I forgot how complicated and heavy it is to deal with VST parameters !
