Title: Delete Voice?
Post by: pmj on April 20, 2018, 05:19:28 PM
Is there a quick way to delete a voice within a bank?  Or do you have to overwrite it with another to get rid of something you don't want to store any more?

I guess this has to be done from the front panel of the Preen as obviously everything is stored as a single .bnk file when you access the memory stick via the bootloader?

Delete a preset from a bank ? No.

Yes overwrite it sounds like a good way to delete it.  ;)

Thanks - so there’s no way to open up a .bnk file in a text editor of some kind and edit voice blocks out?

.bnk are roughly memory dump of the parameters. So they're not editable with a text editor.
Load your preset in the preenfm2, start the PC/mac editor, press "pull" and edit.
Once edited save them on the preenfm2.
