The dropbox download link is broken. I think this has to do w/ Dropbox killing the public folders.

So I'm still getting screen issues when midi notes are being sent.
When the menu button is pressed and rebooted the screen works fine.

I'm running 2.7 overclocked (could this be the issue?)

I figured out the issue. I was missing the jumper that was required after adding the resistor for the screen noise issue. Now things are working great. Thanks again for the help.

Thank you for the response.

I'm going to resolder both sides of the OLED pins. Hope that fixes the issue. Will report back.

I'm having the same issues. Just finished my kit.

When I plug in just the USB to my laptop, I get all gibberish plus a high pitch noise.

I was able to get it working with the jumper 2 removed and a 9v & USB at the same time.
However, I still get intermittent random characters and horizontal scrolling.

Weird thing is that in Firmware mode (where you can mount the USB) the screen renders fine. I think OP was seeing the same thing.

Running Firmware 2.203o

The newhaven OLED has all sorts of issues as well.  It only displays something when the menu button is pressed (nothing on start up) and then instead of increment values, it scrolls everything left to right.  Everything is misaligned also and it made all sorts of noise (the display actually made noise) at the 34 setting.  If it's any help, I used the same display with the Preen 1 without issues

I'm having this same issue where the OLED screen will occasionally scroll from left to right. The screen will occasionally glitch as well but this might just be what the OLED does. It only happens after about 5 minutes of use and is very intermittent.

I've uploaded a video of this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMbAxpmNzdM

Thanks for posting the demo, sounds good!

If anyone else had luck using DX7 bass patches, I'd love to know which ones so I can start building out a bank. Thanks.

Has anyone gotten closer to matching the Lately/Solid or similar bass patches?
I'm getting my kit this week and was planning on primary using the preen for bass duties.
I'll be sure to check out the Funkyfli bank as well. Super stoked for using the PreenFM!
