Just wanted to chime in:

The firmware for Preen FM1 is gone, the VST is gone.
The VST for Preen FM2 is also gone, but that's a separate topic perhaps.

I hope all the fils that used to reside under http://xhosxe.free.fr/PreenFM/ can be restored or shared via Dropbox or something similar.

Hmm, think I sent a PM, but there was some trouble with getting my outbox to show. Hope there's still one left...  :-\

Just wanted to say awesome work and thanks!  ;D

There's some explanations missing, I'll be happy to add those if I could edit the doco. Stuff like filter type 1 = nnnP, type X = BP and such like. All of that can be found in the source, in the old bad days the doco had to be super accurate and beyond complete  :D

Great work!

I was just briefly looking at the source code yesterday night and saw a list of CCs being used. However, I couldn't find where the algorithm for instance gets set. Is there a MIDI implementation document with sysex and CCs and such somewhere and is the implementation complete?

I was looking for this as it would be nice to have an editor, or the possibility to map the most important stuff to a hardware controller.

Please be aware that I didn't exactly scan the code, just opened some files in the browser to take a quick look  :o

Awesome! Really looking forward to building the bigger brother of my little FM guy. Yarr :P

The question beckons: How to make a programmer that controls the FM parameters in a way that makes sense somehow? It's not uncle Bob's analog synth we're controlling. Then again, better some knobbage over none at all  :o

Bring it!

Nice work! Better check the dimensions of the OLED aperture as I'm going down that route myself. How much taller did you make the sides to make it all fit?

Going to see if I can't somewhat copy this...

Hehe, bagged the next to last Maple mini in store at Seed studios. There's only one left there as I write this. They also seem sold out at Sparkfun at the moment. Feels like I got in just in the nick of time  ;D

OK, thanks!

I was sketching how to use a smaller case opening for an OLED, maybe I should ask Altitude if he'd like to share his case, or if I'll modify the case I downloaded yesterday evening  :P

Going to make it at Formulor in some weird color, maybe Radiant or some kind of mirror finish.  ;D Hmm, seems they only offer silver mirror at Formulor, must take a peek later. Radiant is available...

Better hope that they'll make new maple mini batches, if Sparkfun sells those I guess there's a big market for them.

Cool that you're all sold out! Hope it made you some money for further development or new products  8)

New here!

There's been much talking about the Preen over at Mutable so I figured I have to add this to my ever expanding list of DIY gear I have. So, yesterday evening after some more Preen discussions I decided to get in on it and placed an order. I had to check the store today and everything was sold out!  :o

I'm getting stoked and started figuring what to do about getting the case made. Going to pimp her out with a green OLED and some Albs "Waldorf" knobs.

Anyone knows if someone in Europe has the Maple mini in stock, or do I have to get it from China? There's no stress anyway, just checking.
