@toltekradiation would it be crazy for you to merge your changes with the Eurorack version as Xavier described in an earlier posty? no idea where to start...

FYI the eurorack version is in the "adcIn" git branch :

As it was an annoying problem (and easy to fix ;) ), i just uploaded a firmware 1.01 that fixes it.
The combo you create in the menu are now usable.

I just did the described procedure (firmware 2.09a) and the combo did not show up after showing "in progress, done"
(wil do the zip procedure for now)
just reporting

The eurorack version has some parameters not settable in this firmware I noticed (the CV1-CV2-CV3-CV4) in the matrix.
Would it be crazy to add? maybe with a toggle button somewhere to enable/disable so you can still use one app for all preens in the studio?
Or maybe it can even be autodetected form the firmwareversion 2.09 vs 2.09a

just an idea

I have the @served Eurorack version, very happy with the build quality. Now I'm trying to interface with other modules...

As I the preen has four CVinputs, I figured I should be able to do 3 note chords
to put it very simple:

instr 1-2-3: CV1 > gate
instr 1 CV2 > freq*
instr 2 CV3 > freq*
instr 3 CV4 > freq*

but whatever I try:
CV1 (gate) always triggers instrument 4, even if the intrument 4 matrix has no CV mappings at all...

any pointers?

PreenFM2 / Re: rebooting the preen from menu?
« on: April 05, 2019, 03:36:05 PM »

note taken I'll see if I can reproduce, still exploring/learning
It's not the 0 voice problem

but suspecting it is a parameter somewhere in the preset I change or modulate wrong at some point

PreenFM2 / rebooting the preen from menu?
« on: April 04, 2019, 01:44:20 PM »

I'm new to this place, just got my preenFM (eurorack edition, Van Daal Electronics). So far I'm amazed by it capabilities. intuitiveness included.

Sometimes however some of the instruments don't make any sound (while they previously did). Solution is rebooting. For now, until I find the real cause I can live with this reboot sequence, but it requires me to powercycle my whole Eurorack, which is a bit ... well losing setting sin other modules etc...
Could there be a reboot menu item? This would also be superhandy to eg. quickly back up some settings for a project I'm working on without having to powercycle or unplug the usb

Second great improvement would be a subdirectory structure in the menu dor DX7 presets... so you can have more than 255 .. (just asking :)
