Hey, Xavier

Thanks for the firmware update. When would we expect the next one?

I would love to have more destinations in the modulation matrix. Some which come to mind:
  • Envelope 1 - 6 Trigger, Envelope * Trigger (e.g. trigger envelopes with an LFO)
  • Algorithm (e.g. cycle through different algorithm via LFO)
  • Op1-Op6, Op* Oscillator Shape(e.g. cycle through different oscillator shapes via LFO)
  • LFO 1-3, LFO* Shape(e.g. cycle through different LFO shapes via LFO)
  • Free Envelope 1-2 Parameters (e.g. Free Envelope 2 'Attk')

Thanks for all your work on this :)

I bought my power supply from Van Daal Electronics.

You can also find power supplies from eBay if you search '2.1mm 9v adapter'. I think this would work as well.

Just make sure that it's centre positive, plug size is 2.1mm, volts is between 7.5 or 9, minimum 300mA current.

Can we have stickied topic dedicated to PreenFM2 users sharing their works made with the synth?

Here is something that I've made yesterday. Ambient drone.

Ever since I got the PreenFM2 a few months ago, I've been having such a fun time programming it. Yes, it can be a little 'menu-divey' but it's VERY intuitive once you get used to it.

I think I have learned more about FM synthesis by using it for a few months than the many years before I had this thing!  ;D

One of the things I love to do is:
  • Create and loop a MIDI passage on Ableton. Then run it through the internal RANDOM and SCALE MIDI effects.
  • Hit record and spend around a half hour creating a complex patch.

I love ambient music and this synth is incredibly suited for that genre of music. Just put some nice reverb and delay and you're good to go.
