@randy
It keeps me away from putting more money into my modular ... Also with the "small stuff" I want to be able to gig using a very minimalist set, possibly no black and white notes in sight. A small skiff type modular is on the cards, I am designing that at the moment. Nothing vanilla flavoured going in that, it will all be rare beast modules.

it's nearly built ( time would be nice ). I hope to be finished next week, trying to source a blue OLED.
I am spending much thought on case design/production as I have a "Worst Case Scenario", Shruthi, Anushri, GorF, Yellow Magic Shruthi and PreenFM all looking for cases, something in aluminium and wood I think.

Also I have a Klee to build. (but i know what case that is going into).
I will be building another PreenFM as well.
cheers and regards

 the one thing missing on Olivier's Shruthi is a volume control, it is way too loud , Inearly killed 10 people at a Leeds UK meet with it. ;-) Made a few heads turn. A volume control on any device is there so you know what likely level is coming out before it hits a mixer/daw. I don't use a DAW on stage either, but cc vol change is worthwhile to integrate with my foot controllers. good idea.

cheers

As i have not built the PreenFM yet i can only say I would find it useful rather than diving to the mixer all the time.
That's two

well done.
As you have been there before me, I would be interested in where you sourced the comonents. I am only a few miles from Farnell trade counter but for some US stock they charge 16 GBP to import. Mouser don't.
Also i am very interested in your story of the DIY case. I want a laser cutter...
cheers and regards

question.. How essential is the kitkat wrapper? ;-)

I guess probably about as essential as my Chinese takeaway menu in this

Hi there , just looking through the BOM and build it guide , is there an ampage and tolerance suggestion for the 10uH inductor?
I have never seen one quite like the one in the photo , any suggestions for sourcing one at Farnell, as I live just down the road from them.
cheers and regards
