Last firmware 1.06
« on: August 10, 2014, 09:11:57 PM »
Firmware 1.06
. Bug fix : When Ksyn = 0.01, LFO started with a huge value that could produce audio click at the beginning of sounds.

Firmware 1.05
. Preset Randomizer in Menu>Load>Rand (Use left buttons to trigger a new Randomization).
. boot sound can be enable/disable in the settings.
. Band Pass filter frequency now reads the FlHz target of the modulation matrix (like LP and BP)

The Last firmwares are available here :

This is the place to report problems or discuss new features...

awesome, thank you again.
Few things, the frequency modifier in the matrix (FLHz) does not work on the new filter types and would it be possible to use that same modifier to adjust the sample or bit rate of the crush effect.

Bitcrusher is great fun !  :)

same as martindunne :

would be great to modulate those parameters ! i guess i'll map the "filter param 1&2" to my controler for the moment... > hours of tweaking  :o  :P

Thanks  :)

Modifying the simulated "sample rate" from the matrix ? Why not. ?
The simulated "number of bits" is an integer, so you'll hear audio glitches when it changes.

I did not plug the FLHz matrix output to the BP center fequency because  when the value changes some heavy floating point operations are done... several divisions.
Having it changing all the time will add a CPU overhead.
But again, why not ? If you hear audio glitches at full polyphony, you'll know what to change.

Cool thing 8) (at least with some waveforms/patches, and tweaking "with caution"...)

I was playing around with my PreenFM 2 today and this Bit crusher is nice. It really gives a nice edge to the sound :)

Question:
I’m curious, what will we see in the future updates? :)

What i have on my list :

. Random patch
. BP filter frequency targetable from the matrix
And the biggest feature ever :
. The possibility to disable the sound when the preenfm2 is switched on.

Don't hold you breath, i haven't started...

They're all in 1.05.
Randomizer per synth area... With complexity / Harshness selector.
Don't forget to finalize your sound by hand  ;)
Use the left buttons to trigger a new randomization and use "Keep" to well... keep the area unchanged.

I still have to update the documentation.

Don't hesitate to share your feeling,

Xavier

Rest features are useful too  ;)
Thanks, Xavier!

Thanks, i'm glad you like it. I like it too  :)
The idea of a modular randomizer like this was not from me... someone suggested it in the discussion thread some time ago in this forum. So thank you all  :)

Modulation for the bandpass.  Woohoo!  Will have a play on the weekend.  Thanks Xavier!
