USB Midi [Solved]
« on: March 08, 2020, 02:23:18 PM »
Hi! I would like to use the editor but I think that the device is not recognized. Do you have any advice or tutorial? Could it be about drivers?

Cheers

Why do you mean bu "not recognized" ?
You don't see "preenfm mk2" in the list of midi device ?
No need for any drivers.

Try the standalone version of the editor first.

You need to give more info about what you do and what does not work exactly.

Yes, I don't see preenfm mk2 in the list of midi device. Only AKAI and Windows. And I turned on at the midi USB option from the config of the preenfm2

Standalone version or plugin ?
In the plugin version you have to make sure "preenfm mk2" is not used by the DAW/host.

Can you try with another cable ?
And double check the Usb socket soldering points.

will try! I don't know if it is similar to midi through USB but I can go on the boot device if I start the preen in that mode (saying that cause of the usb socket soldering points) thanks!!

You mean you can access the USB key from your computer in bootloader mode ?
If yes no need to verify the solder points. They're OK.

What OS do you use on your computer ?
Have you tried on another PC ?
