Hi All,
I just finished building the euro version of the PreenFM2. Everything works fine except for reading and writing to the USB storage. I copied the firmware from the VanDaal product page to the FAT32 Usb Stick that is included in the kit. There is a communication connection between the module and the USB because it only boots when the USB is in the module, but strange enough it doesn't show any saved patches and it doesn't let me save (the module even freezes when I try to save).
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? I also tried a second Usb Stick but it has the same problem.
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick,
That really sounds like a problem with your USB stick.
Try to format it again in fat32.
Then unzip this file.
https://github.com/Ixox/preenfm2/releases/download/2.08/pfm2_usb.zip
on it.
You should have everything in a /pfm2/ folder.
Optional : add in the /pfm2/ folder the 2.10 binary for Eurorack :
https://github.com/Ixox/preenfm2/releases/tag/2.10
So that you can easily flash it if needed.

This sounds just like the problem I am experiencing. I’ve tried 3 different usb sticks (all < 4Gb capacity). Did you find a solution in the end?
Thanks!
