It depends on what broker the regulator. A too high voltage could leak to the 5v pin and goes directly to the USB stick  :(

a link to the place where i can buy this EXACTLY usb stick that comes with the PCB so i can use mine as donor.. high voltage problems not sure where could i get those as i live in germany since last year and the house was build 4 years ago with the best electrics stuff i could find here. i just hope its pure coincidence/unluck that the regulator failed after installing the new oled and case, anyway im going to install a fuse on this thing. if i ever recover my patches.

I don't understand why you need the EXACT same USB stick.
Anyway, most of them are ARETOP 1Gb or 2Gb Usb key.
