Title: [Fixed] Problem with M oHm resistors
Post by: kroutshev on December 12, 2013, 10:58:37 PM
Hi,
i've just received my kit, thanks Xavier !
I'm beginning by the resistors but when i measure the 1 Mohm Resisor, my multimeter say 11 Mohm ...
Is there a problem ?

Hi,

Don't worry, that's not a problem at all as those 2 resistors are here to set the output to 0V when no sound.
That would work with 11M.

But I'm very surprised...
All the 1M  resistors come from the same source, i've just measured them again and they are 1Mohm.
I don't have any 11M i could have switched with.

No problem  ;)
Some multimeters loose their reference point sometimes and show wrong values, specially for high ohm values.
Connecting both pins and waiting for a clean 0 to show up solve the problem for me when that occurs.
