Title: Playing preenfm3 as a theremin?
Post by: hen__ on September 19, 2021, 06:03:03 AM
Hello!

sorry if that might sound a silly question, but is it possible to play on the preenfm3 by sliding notes which result as a theremin?

if yes i guess one should have specific keyboard that respond to such a thing?

Hello,

You can slide notes using the "glide" feature that makes sounds slidebetween the notes you play if they overlap.
Glide speed can be modified.

The preenfm3 is MPE compatible (I still have to uploade my video on this).
And with MPE enabled,  sliding notes is part of the protocol. On many notes at the same time.
You need a compatible keyboard.
I used "KB-1" on the ipad for that.
