Hi There,
I've just built a Preenfm3 and am wondering how you load DX7 patches.
I can get the Preenfm into bootloader mode, and I was able to load the latest firmware on the SD card and flash it from my Mac, but I haven't had any luck figuring out loading the sysex patches.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,
You'll get some info here :
https://github.com/Ixox/preenfm3/wiki/SD-card
"DX7 sysex can be read and DX7 parameters are roughly map to the preenfm3 parameters. That can be a good start to create a new preset, but don't expect great DX7 emulation.
Only 4104 bytes sysex dumps with 32 presets are readable.
You can find a big archive of those files here. DX7 sysex files must be copied in the /pfm3/DX7 folder"

ok, I didn't have correct folders.
It's working fine now as per these instructions. Thanks a lot.

Hello, is it possible to use subfolders within the /pfm3/DX7 folder ?
-
Ok I just tested it and subfolders are not detected :'(
I understood we can go up to 256 DX7 banks max, isn't it?

Correct : no subfolder and 256 DX7 banks max.
