So I'm having an issue when connecting the FM2 to the Beatstep Pro where if the instrument is being controlled via midi channel 1 it will play just fine on the beatstep. As soon as I hit the record button on Beatstep the value of OP1 Oscillator frequency for instrument 1 goes to 10.5 and then back down to zero if I hit record again. It only affects OP1 Oscillator frequency for instrument 1 and it only happens on midi channel 1.
I can't figure out why thats happening.
I'm using firmware 2.09
Thanks!

Hi,
You can try to set "receive" to "none" in the menu.
Or use a different midi channel ;)

@Synthusiast what midi events does Beatstep Pro transmit when you hit record?

I'm not positive if this is what you mean but when I press record on the beatstep pro the only change on the Preen is the OP1 frequency increases to 10.5 for ON and back to zero when I press it again to turn rec OFF.
On the beatstep pro when I hit rec it allows me to record what notes I'm playing on the beatstep in real time instead step sequencing it.

Yeah setting "receive" to "none" works. Have you ever used this with a beatstep pro and had anything like it happen?

I meant, like if you looked at MIDI out of the beat step on a MIDI monitor program, what data is sent out the output port.
