preenfm2 and preenfm3 / Re: New F.M. physical materials tutorial video on Youtube

So I have been analysing these video's the past few days both on my Volca FM and my PreenFM2 and was able to, for the most part, reconstruct many of their sounds using the DX frequencies. What helped me is realising that the tone they are using is pitched to a lower or higher value to sound as a C3, so this means that if the frequency is 2.00 they play C2 instead of C3 to make it sound as C3. Another thing to look out for is that the PreenFM2 has a maximum frequency of 16 and to get higher you need to use the FTune knob, however the FTune does not scale exacly the same way as the coarse frequency on the Volca FM for example. I found out that by multiplying the difference between the Volca FM frequency and the PreenFM by 1.25 you could get very close to those sounds. For example the beforementioned 21.98 can be replicated by setting the Freq value to 16 and the FTun to (21.98 - 16) * 1.25 = 7.48. Hope this helps!
