I do agree a community sharing place for presets is needed.

Hi all, thinking about checking out the editor today. To what extent has this editor been updated along with the device? Is it up to date with all of the latest updates from Tok?

Thanks

Can’t wait to check this out. Being able to sequence this as a a multi timbral drum synth from my digitakt and free up the DT sample tracks would be awesome. Cheers.

“Recall Mixer files from midi”  this could be really fun and useful. Neat idea.

Hi all,

Is it possible to address reverb parameters in or reverb mix via midi CC?

Isn’t it 6 instruments across 16 voices. Instruments can be mono or stereo and can be summed and routed to any of three stereo output pairs or 6 mono outputs?

Yes, I am familiar with those threads and the octatrack manual. But I can’t seem to get midi from the preen to be recognized by the octatracks midi learn functionality.

CC DIRECT CONNECT allows knob, movements made on external gear to be recorded into the midi sequencer of the Otrack. Essentially puts the octatrack in the control path of whatever device you have connected by way of midi loopback connection. Perhaps I need to use a midi monitor to see what if any nrprn’s are being sent by Preen while editing patches.

preenfm2 and preenfm3 / FM operator MIDI out and Octatrack sequencing

« on: April 07, 2023, 11:35:39 PM »

I’d like to sequence my FM3 from my octatrack by way of CC DIRECT CONNECT which requires local be turned off and the FM3 send midi data out from its sound engine. Has anyone tried this?

It would allow me to turn knobs on the FM3 and have the action recording into the octatracks midi sequencer.

Would it be possible to define custom names for the encoders in the midi controller? Instead of it saying Param1 for example I could name it FLT CUT or DLY SND

Hi everyone!

Is there an implementation that allows me to name the encoders in the midi controller view? So I can remember what the heck I have them programmed to do to my octatrack? TIA

preenfm2 and preenfm3 / Pre-built FM3 from Van-daal w/possible faulty screen

« on: January 03, 2022, 10:00:53 PM »

Hi there

I’ve had my FM3 for a couple months or so. Ever since I got it the screen will flash white during use and occasionally go completely white and stay that way. I’ve only experienced a couple complete crashes and for the most part the synth continues to run when the screen goes white. Is this a common issue or something that I can fix with a firmware update? TIA for any suggestions.

Cheers,

Louis
