Ah so the aliasing would have to be taken off at Oscillators levels I guess, (sorry I know very little about dsp!)
The aliasing in the filter don't bother me as much as the oscillator ones, especially when sliding those high notes...
So I was hoping it could got better with thoses oversampling ideas...
Anyway, thanks for your work on these effects, they already open quite a bit new sonic possibillities!
Looking forward to what it becomes.

Hi toltekradiation.
I did a quick test with the fx and they are really a great addition to the machine imo. Choruses and flanger are great once modulated with an lfo, but it obviously would be quicker that lfo was included already in the fx.
The widener sounds definitely great to my ears, I like less the harmoniser. I'll do more testing...
Did I read correctly that you could add some oversampling filter. Would that mean that it could lower the aliasing of the synth ? That would be awesome !

Hi !
Been using my preenfm3 with linnstrument lately. What a deep little box it is ! Once the workflow understood it can really go a long way ! And the reverb sound blew me away too.
I'll post some sounds and patches when I'll made more of them.
Now some Bugs :
- I can't use the arpegiator with mpe, it doesn't work at all. Is it a known bug, something to be implemented ?
- with heavy use of copy/paste in the operator section my preenfm3 froze but I couldn't reproduce it.
Question :
- How is working the gate destination in the matrix exactly ? Does It retriggers the gate when the mod source>O or another number ?
Now for the FR :
- For using preenfm with a DAW i'd love to be able to record the perform page macros CCs when recording live performances. So I could replay them lately with the changes I made live happening again, edit them before finally rendering to audio. In my experience, preefm3 don't send those CC or maybe I missed something ?
- UI wise I'd lounge for a 3rd page on the FM -> MI page, where we could access to all operators ratios at a time . That could really speed up sound design imho.
- In the matrix another mult specifically for the second destination would be awesome.
- Still in the matrix, what about modulation curves similar to the new envelopes one ?
- I'd love it if the filters could be routed after the sum of all voices of a patch as an option.
- Maybe I missed it but within all the filters algorythms I did not found a clean lp/hp filter without resonance (even when the resonance setting is set to 0). That would be useful for 'cleaning a patch'.
- A delay with 'ping pong' capacity would be great too!
I understand all this is a lot to ask, and that preenfm3 is a one man when time permit project, so of cours feel free to ignore !

I was able to reproduce the problem with all types of after touch (AT, PolyAt, Mpe At) and using different controllers (hydrasynth keyboard, Launchpad pro mk3, linnstrument)
Here is my test session on reaper (I hope it suits you as a way to check, if not, tell me I'll send you the midi file separately)

Ah yes the sound is made like this:
It's init setting with 3 operators, Mix 1 to 0, all the values of the modulation matrix to 0 except the aftertouch (or poly or mpe...) modulating Mix1 with a factor of 1.00...

I'm trying control the patch's volume with mpe pressure only. Mix is set to 0 in the patch.
I'm pretty sure it's not clipping because it happens at low volume too.
Here's a recording attached.
Modulting IMAll with At Mpe seems ok though.

Hi!
Just received my linnstrument and tried to connect it to my preenfm3.
I'm having some trouble, when I assign mpe pressure to Mix * I can hear some clicking noise whenever I adjust the pressure when playing (a lot of light clicking noises ). Could it be that the midi modulation lacks some smoothing ?
