because I was experiencing a different issue where the preen was repeating the notes when hitting the next octave.
When I look at your scala.zip flie, I see your reg_22 TET Porcupine[7] 3 3 3 4 3 3 3.scl file has 2/1 at the end. I will try again with the correct file and see what happens.
I also see this 22-TET porcupine[7] file in another folder of scala files:
! 22-TET Porcupine[7] 3 3 3 4 3 3 3
Porcupine[7] generated inside 22-TET

Wouldn't this also incorrectly repeat the octaves?? There seem to be a lot of weird issues with people not understanding the file format (including myself obviously)
