preenfm2 and preenfm3 / MIDI Sustain Pedal?

How can I get the Preen to react to MIDI sustain (hold pedal)? None of the presets I have tried seem to react to hold pedal... (CC #64)

I'm starting to dive into programming FM sounds 
on the freshly assembled Preen. (Smooth build btw. excellent! 
I have noticed that to modulate the IM amount via velocity you'd have to use the matrix. It works OK, but the velocity of the last key pressed also changes the mod amount of the notes already ringing.
Could this parameter be made polyphonic so that each note continues to ring with the velocity amount it was started with?
