I don't know exactly what you mean. The SDcard slot will be on the left side a bit in the direction of the connection panel. It is designed to fit if the display is soldered nearly up to the top side. I made the slot anyways a bit bigger if somebody has soldered it already a bit lower. If I see it correctly, it is so big, you can place the display with the stackable headers completely down the PCB or completely up to exactly beneath the acrylic control panel.

Yes I could place it on the other side, but I think people with an FM synthesizer will be smart enough to connect together 6 simple parts correctly ;) If not, it's simple to remove and replace those parts.

And as described in the readme file, there are 4 versions: 2 for small buttons (with 3d printed adapter) with and without LCD window and the same for the bigger buttons like from the Ambika.
You can see the blue lines making a window in the 2 files with ending names "Windowed" or not ? These lines will be cutted by laser/mill. But you do not need the window, if you use clear acrylic. Then you would
take one of the versions without "Windowed" in the filename.

The sd slot should be right, I just ordered it on the right side instead the left where it belongs on the design sheet. But I will check again.

It's in eps/svg format, but I can add PDF if you want. I'm just not shure if PDF will serve the right ratio.

I have already made a casing design for laser cutting, you could try to mill it. Please wait until tuesday, I am not at home now.
I want to offer the design for free here in the forum, but wanted to order it at  first to test before somebody spoil money.

It is a design like from the Ambika, Anushri and PreenFM2 acrylic casing with nuts and screws.

These are no headphone jacks on the PreenFM but line level jacks. Without amplification they will be quiet.

Thank you, it worked!
I think I also will have to replace the dfu driver under Windows 10 to get use of the cmd option.

I also had the problem with flashing 1.01 on my new PreenFM3 with the Chrome browser, so I choose DfuSe. That worked.

But the new Bootloaders are in .bin format, could you please offer the .dfu format, too @Xavier ?

I have not only to complain.
Had finally time to noodle around with the PFM3, made a simple patch and played a little track.
Sounds really good and is much more intuitive than the PFM2.

I came very fast to results and the connections between the operators are really good to see. Much less to click until the success :)

The bug with no voice playing occurs also if you use the random function, by the way;)

And another suggestion: If you are in FM edit mode, you can step through the operators.
But say you chose an algorithm with 3 OPs, the non used OPs 4-6 will also be visible.
I would find it faster and more intuitive if they would not be seen.

Thank you, the workaround with Edit->FM->Voice works.

I have reduced the other instrument's voices to 0 and then can set instrument 1 up to 16 voices.
But when loading a DX7 preset,  instrument 1's voices are reduced to 1 again and it won't sound until I set the voice numbers up (and may then reduce it to 1 again).

And I found another little bug: If you are in the Engine Menu and the voice is set to poly you should not play a chord while setting Poly->Mono.
One note will be hold then and does not even stop if you play and release the note again. Maybe there should be send a NoteOff before changing from poly to mono and vice versa.

I don't know if it is a bug or I am missing something:

If I load a DX7 preset, there is no sound at first.
I have to go to the voices menu and turn them from 1 to 2 (or higher) to hear something.
If I then turn it back to 1, there now will be sound (1 voice of course then).

But I cannot get polyphony on the DX7 sounds if I turn up the voice number. It will be just monophonic all the time.

This problem does not occure in normal mode. If I start an empty preset, I can turn up the voice number and it will be polyphonic.
