I just finished my build I'd laying around for quite a while.
Super-simple and fun build, great documentation and the PreenFM2 itself, goodness!
It's really a great instrument, this was my first serious introduction to FM and I was thinking that the programming would be a bit tedious. To my surprise, it's pretty straightforward even using only the panel.
Really love it and I'm super happy I got the opportunity to get this thing in my possession =D
Super great engineering work, so impressed!

My only gripe is that the MIDI out jack doesn't thru the MIDI from USB, is this something that would be possible to do in a firmware mod?

I haven't touched the USB/midi for a while but I think what you describe should work.

Have you enabled "midi thru" in the settings ?

Hm, i was under the impression from reading posts around the forum that it wasn't implemented.
I'm pretty sure I enabled MIDI thru, I'll try it again and see what happens =)
