[Fixed in 0.97b] Mixer slots 5 and 6 on Preen FM3

Sorry to be so vocal and pesky here.

Anyone else have trouble loading Presets into Mixer [Multi] slots 5 and 6?

It's almost as if the file structure is not seeing those slots, and my unit immediately freezes.

Without jumping to conclusions, could it be that the firmware still retains the 4-instrument maximum of the FM2? That's just how it seems to me.

Thanks in advance. Would appreciate it if someone could confirm they can load into those two slots.

Yes, same here. I dial to slot 5 or 6 on the mixer, press menu, press Preset, then press 'Load' and the unit freezes.

I'll take a look at that.

It seems to work fine in 0.98 i'm working on.
But there's defintely a problem with 0.97.

That was a very annoying bug so i fixed it in v0.97b attached to the v0.97 release:

Well, I did try Continuous mode with my Scala file using a keyboard with midi interface this afternoon and I could swear it was the same with silences as in Keyboard mode. But I just now hooked the FM3 up to Max/MSP and triggering it from there, Continuous mode solves the problem. Nothing like my finding problems where there are none! I will check with my keyboard tomorrow just to be sure.

The second is I was wondering if the external midi control mappings are the same as the FM2? I've fooled around a bit with the FM3 and I am often confused -- both with FM2 and Fm3, actually -- because I don't never am sure if if my CC, NRPN, MSB LSB etc stuff is properly set up.

Yes, i hope the pace will slow down a bit 
I worried about the TFT so i had to try things. The TFT is super sensitive to any electronic noise and go in a kind of "sleep mode".
I made "MENU + INST-" faster. This is a combo that everybody has to know.

By default instrument 5 and 6 are mono and assigned respectlively to jack 5 and 6.
Go in Mixer > Out (Jack Output) then change output to "5-6". They will be stereo and panning will work.

Yes the editor is compatible with the preenfm2.

You can even use the preenfm2 editor.

But i realized 10 minutes ago midi NRPNs of 0.98 are broken because of the 3 new params i added 
For the moment keep the 0.97 if you want to try the editor.
Will publish a 0.98b soon with midi NRPN fixed.

OK, that all makes good sense!

I've been fooling around hitting the FM3 with dozens of CCs from a sequencer and it's working very well. I just need to jot down all my favorite CC mappings in a list.
