USB power supply only ?

Hi,
i would like to use the preenFM without computer. Is it possible to "tweak" the preenFM (or a usb wire, i'm a newbie in electronic) to supply it with a battery and not with a computer ?

I bought 3 pieces for 10 euros shipping inlcuded... I don't remember which one exactly.

They work very well and improved a lot the ratio signal/noise.

I was thinking that might work. Why is the power supplied by USB actually? I guess so that the board does not need to have a transformer or other power regulation circuit?

Might be a good addition for an R4 board.

Yes, i made this choice to get rif of all the 5v regulation...
Maybe for a r4... The back panel will have to redone too...
