more CC control
« on: February 26, 2016, 11:29:12 AM »
Hi!

I have a feature request for the next firmware version: It would be really nice if more default CC parameters were available
in order to control the pfm2 more directly, in particular for the filter and some envelope parameters. this can be done now
via the performance and first 4 matrix entries, but it would be nice to have something more general working for all patches.
in addition, for the requested envelope CC, it would be great to have some kind of "global" amplitude envelope that comes after
everything else.
i think that way it would be easier to play the pfm2 more like a traditional (subtractive) synthesizer and control it from sequencers
and control keyboards that do not support NRPN

cheers!

the last carrier envelope is like an envelope of the whole sound unless of course you have more than one carrier...

Seems like it's a common request.
I don't have much free time for the moment, but if any dev wants to take a look, this is very simple to add any CC.

Does the FM2 have the ability to increase or decrease the overall volume outside of the volume knob?  It would be great if MIDI CC#7 could be mapped to global volume!
