3D Printed Case
« on: October 14, 2016, 02:10:49 AM »
Hello, recently got the PreenFM2 and I just finished building a 3D printed case for it. I have to create a v2 because of a slight registration problem with the buttons, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. You can see the case here:

Awesome little synth, Xavier!

WOW !!!!!
Congratulations...
Fantastic video, great music and awesome case.....
Thanks a lot for sharing.

Would you mind sharing the files when you have a V2 ?
That would be a big adition to the preenfm2 project.

Merci Xavier,

I'll send a link when I've done the corrections. Probably a couple of weeks to be honest, I'm juggling a couple of art/make/music projects, and there's also the day job  ;)
The case was built in OnShape, so I'll be able to share the link directly from that.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, and I didn't really play with it much until I finished the case, but I Love the FM2 so far. I'm more into glassy/breathy/ambient patches and I wish there was a bank with just that. I find there's a lot of dubstep style basses and dissonance in the default patches. I guess I'll have to dig into DX patches and import those.

OnShape ?
I didn't know this site before.
I would be surprised it can be exported to another 3D printer service.
Anyway having a link to this case when it's OK would be great.

Once you find a DX7 sound you like.
Try to use the randomizer with : Keep / Keep / Keep / Soft. To add a little more movement.
