Possible to name Encoders in the Midi Controller View?
« on: October 28, 2022, 11:34:30 PM »
Hi everyone!

Is there an implementation that allows me to name the encoders in the midi controller view? So I can remember what the heck I have them programmed to do to my octatrack? TIA  :)

Would it be possible to define custom names for the encoders in the midi controller? Instead of it saying Param1 for example I could name it FLT CUT or DLY SND

OK you're talking about the "midi controller" mode ("MENU + SEQ") of the preenfm3. Correct ?
Sorry i think that's the first question about this mode  ;)

Hold down EDIT and turn any encoder on any page. You can then edit : midi channel, CC and the name of the encoder.
That also works for Buttons.

Press MENU and MENU again to save your modification.
