Power my Preenfm2 with a mobile charger?

I wonder if I can power my Preenfm2 with a mobile charger that outputs 5V & 1A via the USB port?

Yes you can.
It will be more noisy than using a power supply because the 5v of the charger directly feed the DAC. But it depends on the mobile charger.
With a 9v power suply there is a stage to lower the voltage that clean up the 5v.

Okay, thanks for your answer! I took a leap of faith and tried it and it works perfectly. Thanks for the tip with the noise. I will listen if I hear some noise in the signal when I use it next time.

I power my PFM3 both ways, depending on the situation and I actually haven't noticed any sound difference but I have a famously tin ear. I think it will also depend on the charger/USB power situation.
