PCB R5 schematic
« on: December 22, 2014, 11:21:10 PM »
Hi all,

I was holding back on PreenFM because of financial priorities,
but now I've decided to build 2 budget PreenFM2.

Parts are slowly arriving by mail and
I've already converted most of the R4 schematic to veroboard,
but now I want to include the R5 upgrades as well.

Where can I find the R5 schematic?

Thanks!

Xavier

According to the R5 schematic I can directly connect the external usb (J1) to pin 39 and 38 of Cerb40, instead of using the micro usb onboard Cerb40 (R4).
Is this correct for Cerb40?
Does this depend on firmware?

No connecting directly the external USB to pin 39 & 38 only works with the preenf405 (my own CERB40 version) :

For the CERB40 you'll have to use the micro usb socket and wire it to the PCB by hand.

If you're the one who just ordered 2 CERB40, i added 2 micro USB socket in the parcel.
(I just shipped it BTW, sorry for the delay.)
