preenfm2 and preenfm3 / Midi thru not working and farthest two encoders don't press down?

Hi I'm noob I'm not a programmer.
I wonder if anyone has any guidance or ideas for the two issues I have.
I have a feeling the encoders on the farthest right need a more shallow knob? So they have more travel to press down? The other four click downwards allowing me to quicky change timbre. When I removed the knob cover the farthest right two will click down showing that they are mechanically and electronically sound. But with the knob on it they do not have space to travel. It's strange that all 6 encoders are not aligned at the same depth?
I have midi thru enabled in settings and I need it to work as my waldorf Blofeld does not have midi thru, but it never receives any midi.
I am sending to the preenFM3 from my polyend tracker. Preen is registering it and working fine. But nothing being sent onwards.
