Tuning issues

I am running into a strange problem where if I use a patch to build chords, any chord containing more than 6 notes becomes detuned as pitches are added.

I noticed this while using the microtonal feature to create some music in Just Intonation, but then realized that this happens even with scala tunings disabled. does this happen on your preenfm2?

try this: Hold a C, add one by one: D-E-F-G-A-C. Now continue holding the two C keys, but let go of notes between. They are out of tune, but if you release and then retrigger them, they are now in tune.

Not sure what it is.
Can be the preset that modify the tune over time.. When play one by one it's detuned, when played together it's tune.
Can you share your preset ?
Easiest way is to savethe default combo : Menu>save>deflt>Save.
 
Then plug the USB to your computer. Swith the preenfm2 on while pressing ENG. Press ENG again to access the stick from you computer.
The USB stick should be visible from your windows/mac/Linux machine.
And share here your /pfm2/DFLTCMBO.pfm.
That's the combo loaded when you boot.

thanks for the reply.

it does this no matter what the preset is. if the notes are played together in a chord, the same problem exists. just explained it linearly for the sake of explaining the problem. after 6 tones, the tuning gets weird.

I will share the default combo later today if you think that will help.
