xavier...  any plans for an fm wrist watch?

it was made by an enthusiast.  there is a thread somewhere here so you could ask the maker.  where did you buy it?  i think its sorta unnecessary unless it costs less or shrinks the footprint or does something the through-hole doesnt do, even tho i was sorta fascinated when they announced it.  id love a preenfm2 wrist watch honestly!  with an onboard sequencer and a little speaker... and a space bar!

as far as i know the smd version is a branch made by a preenfm2 fan and xavier has nothing to do with it

is there a possibility to add a comb filter?

looking at other offerings for fm on the market now, preenfm2 ranks pretty high for what you get.  the only other one that i feel glad about is digitone keys.  oh and quad operator if we are talking modules.  i could maybe be excited about kodamo EssenceFM but do i need that much fm?  no!  and not for that much, at least not now. preenfm2 has a comparable  depth and more modulation, more destinations. more filters.  and a much nicer price honestly.

ill try those other things, thanks for the heads up

say, i was wondering if i might offer some suggestions:

parameters that have a large range allow you to ckick twist an editor knob to get back to 0 quickly.  my suggestion is to put a range of values in there so you could easily reach 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 or 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 etc instead of having to scroll all the way up if you accidentally zeroed the knob.

i really miss long portamento slides, could we take a vote to see if people are ok with breaking older patch compatibility?  maybe some sort of batch or conversion utility could be made easily?

i would love to use my own lfo shapes, would that be simple to implement?

it would be amazing to simply delay the start of a voice from key on...

hope youre staying safe and healthy.

just listen to all the useable patches by simply hitting the random function:

both of them.  greatest fm hardware i own, just awesome aggressive sound and incredible filter set that finishes the sound.  totally useful for drum and bass.  i could just keep going on the sound design with 4 parts to layer, its like a dream fm synth.  to me its more exciting than a plugin and sounds just as good.  and i havent started to animate with cc changes yet!  wow this is just too cool.  like london in a box!  no need for the digitone now...  and hey at least one of my white oled screens looks great!  i think ill do a different theme on the other one and use a colored screen.

anyways not bored sitting here any more!

(stir crazy maybe)

awesome!  i can see this being very useful.

do automations sent to the individual voices still work while using this?
